Kris Hostrup - Treasurer GUNS and HOSES Foundation

Employed by the City of Garland Police Department 22 years.   School Resource Officer at the Austin.
Academy of the Garland ISD for the past 14 years.
Recipient of the Police Metal of Valor from the Garland Police Department.

Began with six kids and one coach in 1998. There are now 200 kids in the boxing program, 50 kids in the Karate program. The boxing program has 17 boxing coaches. The Karate program has 2 Karate instructors.

	Mission Statement It is the Mission of the GUNS and HOSES Foundation to raise funds to benefit the youth of our community, to provide monetary support to families of fallen fire and police officers and to donate designated funds to named charities of the fire and police boxing tournament participants.
